【春待ち高瀬川】

いままさに厳冬の高瀬川・・・
しかし、この細い枝先たちを見てみますと
花芽が幾数千・・・

人はみかけによりませんが

それは桜木とて同じ・・・
一見とは全く違う側面を持っています

桜同様　ことし私達　人を見る目などもまた養い
ああなんという間違い判断をしてしまったのだろう･･･
という後悔のない一年を創って生きたいもの

二カ月余の先　満開の様を見ながら　今年の自分の在り様
を　さてもまた　見てみたい・・・

明けましておめでとうございます

だいぶ遅くなりましたが。。。

明けましておめでとうございます。

今年の京都は元旦から60年振りの大雪に見舞われました。

雪自体は大変なのですが、京都の街は雪化粧をしていて綺麗でした。

特に金閣寺の雪化粧に見に行かれた方は多いかと存じます。

そして本日、成人の日には徒歩10分にございます泉涌寺で「泉山七福神巡り」が開催されております。今では色々な七福神巡りがありますが、「七福神」を「巡り」に整えたのは泉涌寺の「泉山七福神巡り」が始まりみたいです。

また徒歩５分の新熊野神社では「左義長神事」も行なわれておりました。

左義長（さぎちょう）とは、小正月に行われる火祭りの神事です。

それではまだまだ寒い日が続きますのでお体ご自愛くださいませ。

本年もどうぞ宜しくお願い致します。

Thank you friends of Newzealand in the Chichibu…

We are very glad to hear that you have enjoyed Kyoto very much.
The Golden temple and the Silver tenple must be preparing the time
to wait the new year.
We hope you can stay more nice time in the Chichibu and Japan
as a instructor of the English.
We’d like to sea again here in Kyoto in the other season.

One day of early Autumn.

They don’t run away from me. i’ts very cute.

The Guest came from nature in the night with tired. So I gave sugar water with cotton cloth.

Next moring, the guest became fine and could check-out. :)

He came to our guest house last night.
I prepared for sugar water with cotton cloth. So he became to fine this morning. Thank you ♪

加茂みたらし茶屋

下鴨神社の西側にあるみたらし団子発祥の店で

お持ち帰りしてきました。

こちらのお店はみたらし団子発祥のお店だそうです。

下鴨神社の糺の森・みたらし池に湧き出す水の泡を

られたというみたらし団子で５つの団子は

串に刺さってあるのですが、１つだけ少し離れています。

５つの団子は五体を表し、一つ離れたのが頭だそうで、
五体満足の願いが込められています。

下鴨神社に行った際には是非足を運んでみてください～♪

葵祭 Aoi Matsuri

本日、悪天候の中、京都三大祭のひとつ葵祭が開催されました。
葵祭とは京都最古の祭（今から１４００年前）で、行列のすべてに葵の葉が飾られてます。
古典行列は平安貴族そのままの姿で列をつくり、京都御所を出発、総勢500名以上の風雅な行列が下鴨神社を経て、上賀茂神社へ向かいます。
下鴨神社と上賀茂神社の例祭で古くは賀茂祭、北の祭りとも言い、平安中期の貴族の間では、単に「祭り」と言えば葵祭のことをさすほど有名であったとされています。

The Aoi Festival is a festival of both the Shimogamo Shrine and the Kamigamo Shrine held in Kyoto City on May 15th. The official name of the festival is Kamo Festival. In the mid-6th century, a serious famine occurred. Emperor Kinmei asked a fortune teller for guidance to handle the problem. The fortune teller told the emperor that the famine was caused by the gods’ anger. Therefore the emperor ordered a ceremonial festival to soften their anger. The festival today is known for its elegant parade with people dressed in classic costumes of the Heian Period.

Aoi Festival’s highlight is its parade with people dressed in classic costumes of the Heian-period. Special carriages called ‘Gosho Guruma’ and oxcarts, which were common 1,000 years ago, can be seen. The name of the festival was derived from the fact that starting in 1694, everything in the procession, such as the people, carts and the oxcarts, became to be decorated with hollyhock leaves, which are called “aoi” in Japanese. The parade starts from the Kyoto Imperial Palace and proceeds through town to the Shimogamo Shrine, and then on to the Kamigamo Shrine. It seems like a reproduction of a historical scene from an ancient scroll
